DARIEN

Darien is a smaller community with no traditional downtown or main street, though there is a large commercial presence along 75th street. Carriage Greens Golf Club is a popular venue for local weddings as well. Darien is served by both Downers Grove South and Hinsdale South High Schools. To the south of Darien is Argonne National Labs, a leading employer, as well as Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve, which forms the suburb’s southern boundary and sports ten-plus miles of trails to hike or cycle, as well as several scenic waterfalls and waterways, underscoring the motto, “A Nice Place to Live.”  Click HERE to learn more about Darien.
